The UPHA Board of Directors has called an Emergency General Membership meeting to discuss the Wake County Board of Education's Decision to alter the current policy of school assignment toward a model favoring Neighborhood Schools.
This is an issue that has the potential to have a direct impact on our Neighborhood, and our Neighborhood School - Fred Olds Elementary - and it is an issue that is best discussed by our General Membership.
The meeting will be held at the Brooks Avenue Church of Christ - next Monday - 3/15 from 7pm-9pm.
